A rough pebble (1.5" dia.) that, upon impact, radiates into a 5' dia. stone caltrop. To activate: pinch hard until the user feels a click, after that, the next kinetic-impact will set the item off. Upon trigger, the pebble causes 3d4 piercing damage within and/or adjacent to it's diameter.
RP use: Item can be used to close off a bottleneck or as an anti-personnel "land-mine."
